A Royal Stay
It’s not everyday you get the chance to stay in the former residence of a Royal Princess. And, as such, six luxury suites within the main house have been refurbished to the highest standards for luxury b&b guest accommodation in Yorkshire.
AA Five Gold Stars
Goldsborough Hall has been awarded five gold stars from the AA and is the highest rated accommodation in Yorkshire.
Rooms are available on an individual per night bed and breakfast basis or can be hired as part of an exclusive wedding or function at the Hall.
A Trade Mark of Luxury
Whilst the suites have been individually decorated, each has certain features that have become a trade mark of the luxury of staying at Goldsborough Hall. Be it a hand made mahogany 8ft by 8ft four poster bed, ivory leather Chesterfield suite, HD 50-inch plasma TV, wireless monsoon shower or whirlpool bath, each room is designed to make your stay one of total luxury.
All of the suites are very large rooms and could easily be called bridal when compared to almost anywhere else. The four giant corner rooms of Hutton, Byerley, Lascelles and Oglesby all come with 8ft four poster beds and additional double sofa beds.
In The Times Top 20 places to stay with great gardens
The Times listed Goldsborough Hall in the top 20 places to stay with great gardens, detailing the owners’ careful restoration of the gardens and the accommodation “decidedly posh b&b”.
The accommodation floor is accessed via the great staircase or from the internal passenger lift although the east facing suites of Lascelles, Hanson and Oglesby require an additional small flight of steps off the main landing.
In keeping with the history of the property, the rooms have been named after families who owned the Hall during the first 400 years of its existence and each one carries a story that surrounds it.
