Goldsborough Hall was included in an article on perfect UK wedding venues in the Spring-Summer edition of Pure Weddings magazine.
We were delighted that the magazine chose Brian Harte’s fantastic photograph of a bridal couple on the lawn in front of the hall for the main photograph in the piece.
The article mentions that the hall is ‘set in beautiful, uninterrupted parkland with bags of history and a direct royal connection’ and also talks of the hall’s ‘magnificent bedrooms suites’.

Goldsborough Hall's Real Wedding
Goldsborough Hall has been featured in the Real Weddings section in Living North, the magazine for Yorkshire.
The couple held both their wedding ceremony and their reception at Goldsborough Hall last summer. The bride looked stunning in her Ian Stuart gown and the couple were photographed by Brian Harte.
They were lucky enough to have an amazing sunny day and the photographs reflect how much fun they had with the glorious backdrop of the hall!

The hall has had a fabulous write up in the wedding venues section of Living North under ‘I Do. Perfect Places to tie the knot.’ in the late Winter/early Spring issue of the magazine.
The magazine mentions the hall’s ‘elegant state rooms’ and calls the bedroom suites ‘magnificent’.

The Wedding Affair at Goldsborough Hall fair is featured in Bride magazine.
The Fair, on Sunday 24th June 2012 is from 12noon-4pm and will feature over 30 suppliers including bridal wear, menswear, jewellery, photographers, florists and many more.
Bride is a new publication, from the publishers of Yorkshire Life and North East Life.

We are delighted to have been featured in the prestigious Vogue magazine in their special Christmas edition in ‘Venues in Vogue’. The magazine described the hall as ‘one of Yorkshire’s most memorable and unique venues’.

One of Yorkshire Wedding Cars long-wheel based Bentley hit the headlines with a front cover of Classic Car Weekly and a double inside the magazine.
YWC is based at Goldsborough Hall and Classic Car Weekly said of Goldsborough Hall that it was ‘a country retreat and one of Yorkshire’s premier wedding venues’.

The Hall has been listed in Brides' top 100 venues
Goldsborough Hall has been listed in this year’s top 100 wedding venues in influential Brides magazine (Mar-Apr 2011 issue) and is the highest listed venue in the Yorkshire region.
Brides magazine labelled this Yorkshire venue a “hidden gem” and called the sumptuous six bedroom suites as “stately with a modern twist”.

The magazine labelled the hall a “Northern Treasure” and a “beautiful wedding venue that oozes character”. It goes on to mention that the hall was once the home of Princess Mary and that “you’ll feel like royalty in this fab venue and their luxurious rooms”.

Pure Weddings magazine published a fabulous three page feature on Nick Critchell and Laura-Jane’s “High Flying Romance”. The delightful couple had a “Top Gun” themed wedding at the Hall last summer.
In the article, Laura describes why she chose Goldsborough Hall saying that the stately home had such history behind it and “made it the perfect venue for a fairytale wedding”. She says that they were “blown away with the grounds which were made up of stunning landscaped gardens – the ideal setting for photographs” but also loved “the exclusivity and privacy of having the venue to ourselves”.
