House Wines
Included in our standard wedding package is a sparkling wine reception for your guests after the wedding ceremony has taken place, house wines which will be served during the wedding breakfast and a sparkling wine toast to accompany the speeches. Should you wish to offer your guests an alternative choice for your arrival drink, we would be happy to arrange this for you. Please find our suggestions below: -

Santo Isidro De Pogeos Branco, Portugal (House White Wine)
A delicious wine made from the Fernao Pires grape. The crisp, clean palate is enhanced by spicy flavours and a clean, zesty finish.
Pinot Grigio Podere Vaglie, Italy
Well constructed, packed with lots of fruit. Has a fine, crisp acidity and a good length.
‘Bishop’s Leap’Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand
As you would expect this wine bursts with vibrant aromas of passion fruit gooseberry and grapefruit. Crisp, bright with a wonderful finish.
Opal Ridge Gewurztraminer Verdelho, Australia
A very fruity styled wine. Fresh floral characters balanced with a pleasant and crisp acidity finish
Macon Villages, Cave de Lugny, France
Delicate bouquet with floral fruity nuances, suggesting acacia and peaches. Well balanced with good length on the finish.
Viognier de Campuget Cuvee Prestige, Vin de Pays du Gard, France
Intense nose of flowers and fruits leading to lychee, peach and apricot. An exceptional wine.
Red Wine
Santo Isidro De Pogeos Tinto, Portugal (House Red Wine)
A flavoursome wine made from the Castelao grape. Soft on the palate with suggestions of fresh raspberries and violets. Round, smooth and well balanced.
Cabernet Franc Carmenere Winemakers Selection, Chilie
Deep red colour with violet overtones. Ripe fruit aromas that evoke red berries and plums. Medium bodied with firm round tannins and a good finish.
Chateau Saint Romans AC Bordeaux, France
Berried nose with a pleasant softness on the palate. Smooth, refreshing and easy drinking.
Beaujolais Villages Chateau de Souzy, France
Aromas of violets and ripe red fruit – the light tannins make for a good glass of wine with length and depth.
‘1753 Syrah’ Chateau de Campuget AC Costieres de Nimes, Framce
A classic Syrah with intense fruit-driven style. Made from 15 year old vines, the wine shows a smoky liquorice character; hints of dark chocolate, smooth velvety texture – complex.
Bourgogne Pinot Noir Domaine St.Germain, France
This wine has a lingering bouquet of strawberries and ripe plums. Smooth and velvety on the palate. A most enjoyable wine.
Included in all our wedding packages is our house wine. Should you wish to upgrade to any of the above options a supplement price per person would be applicable.
Sparkling Wine
Goldsborough Hall House Sparkling Wine, Brut Cuvee Close
A clean wine with excellent fruit and a lively sparkle on the palate – refreshing drinking.
Carpene Malvolti, San Marco Prosecco
A fine mousse with a slightly aromatic bouquet. A hint of apples in the background. In the mouth it is fresh, well balanced with a Good length.
Sacchetto, Pinot Rosa Frizzante
A blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Bianco gives this wine a bouquet of berried fruits. Well balanced with a lively refreshing finish.
Champagne
Goldsborough Hall House Champagne, Brut
A fruity style and elegant. This champagne is produced by the highly reputable house of Moutard.
Moutard Grand Cuvee, NV Champagne
A cuvee with a Pinot Noir base, aged on the lees for at least 3 years. A fine rich nose with fragrances of butter, almond and brioche
Moutard Rose, NV Champagne
Delicate salmon pink in colour with floral aromas and flavours of fresh red berries such as strawberries and raspberries.
