Holding civil ceremony at Goldsborough Hall

Photograph by Brian Harte

This room can cater for up to 110 people for a civil ceremony or 90 for a fully seated wedding breakfast.

The Sir Richard Hutton Room is very elegant and has many 18th-century features, including the triumphal Robert Adam’s pillars either side of the bay and decorative cornices.

Its stunning focal point is the 16th-century stone fireplace, pictured here behind the bride.

The Dining Room

The Dining Room set out for a civil ceremony

With carvings depicting scenes from the Old Testament on the over-mantel, this fireplace is said to predate the Hall.

East facing, this room captures the morning and lunchtime sun, bathing it in light.

A baby grand piano lives in this room – tuned every few months. You are welcome to use it to accompany any ceremony music you might require.
