Sleep Like A Princess

It’s not everyday that you get the chance to stay in the former residence of a Royal Princess. Princess Mary, the Queen’s aunt, lived at Goldsborough Hall throughout the 1920s. Your wedding night would be like walking in the footsteps of Royalty!

• Six luxury bedroom suites
• Two bridal suites
• AA Five Star accommodation
• Four-poster bed luxury

Six luxury suites within the main house have been refurbished to the highest standards for luxury guest accommodation and the bedooms can be hired as part of an exclusive wedding or function at the Hall.

AA Five Gold Stars

Goldsborough Hall has been awarded five gold stars from the AA for the third year running and is the highest rated accommodation in Yorkshire.

The Bridal Suites: A Trade Mark of Luxury

The main bridal suites are Lascelles and Byerley; both are perfect for a bride and groom’s first night together. All the bedrooms are the height of luxury and elegance but the bridal suites have the added touches of hooks high up to hang bridal dresses and plenty of mirrors to get ready in front of!

• The Lascelles Suite comes with a romantic sunken bath with views over the parkland, four-poster 8ft bed and a 150in cinema screen

The Byerley Suite comes with a lovely jacuzzi bath, four-poster 8ft bed and uninterrupted views over the grounds

Any of the four giant corner suites could all be called bridal. Hutton, Byerley, Lascelles and Oglesby all come with 8ft four poster beds and additional double sofa beds. The Hanson suite has a half tester 8ft bed while the Wharton has a lovely king size sleigh bed.

In keeping with the history of the property, the rooms have been named after families who owned the Hall during the first 400 years of its existence and each one carries a story of the history that surrounds it.

Whilst the suites have been individually decorated, each has certain features that have become a trade mark of the luxury of staying at Goldsborough Hall. Be it a hand made mahogany 8ft by 8ft four poster bed, ivory leather Chesterfield suite, high definition 50-inch plasma TV, wireless monsoon shower or whirlpool bath, each room is designed to make your first night as man and wife one of total luxury.

See our accommodation page on the main site for more information on Goldsborough Hall’s five star suites.
