The Princess Mary’s Drawing Room

Introducing the Princess Mary Drawing Room - a stunning space that exudes elegance and charm, making it the perfect venue for your civil ceremony, wedding breakfast or evening reception. The room is bathed in natural light, thanks to its three vast double aspect windows, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that is sure to enchant your guests. The room is also home to a beautiful Challen baby grand piano which you are welcome to use to accompany your ceremony.

The Princess Mary Drawing Room can accommodate up to 150 guests for a civil ceremony or evening reception when used in conjunction with the adjoining Library and Conservatory Bar. The room has a rich history, having been extensively remodeled by John Carr of York and Robert Adam in the 1750s. It boasts an Adam marble fireplace, which adds to the room's grandeur and sophistication.

The room is named after HRH Princess Mary, who lived at the Hall with her husband Viscount Lascelles (later 6th Earl of Harewood) during the 1920s. This exquisite room is steeped in history and offers a truly unique and memorable setting for your special day.
