The Jacobean Library

We are proud to present The Jacobean Library - a stunning room that exudes elegance and sophistication.

The Library is adorned with 17th century oak-panelling and boasts an elaborately painted plaster ceiling, creating a dramatic and unforgettable atmosphere for your special day. This beautiful room can host up to 90 guests, making it perfect for intimate gatherings or grand celebrations.

The Library is named after HRH Princess Mary and her husband Viscount Lascelles, who lived at the Hall during the 1920s. This exquisite room has been preserved almost exactly as it was in Mary's day, with even the dog grate in the fireplace still visible in photographs from the era.

While the Library is mainly used for reception drinks, it also links beautifully with the central hallway, drawing room, conservatory bar area, and outside terrace. This creates a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing your guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding gardens while still being comfortably seated indoors.

With its rich history and stunning features, the Library is the perfect choice for couples looking for a truly special and unforgettable wedding day.
