Enjoy Europe’s most iconic wine regions. Celebrate indigenous and classic grape varieties, time-honoured traditions and the unique environments that define the essence of winemaking in France and Italy.

Two expert sommeliers are set to face off in an exciting head-to-head competition, each passionately presenting their selected wines alongside a decadent four-course menu. Savour their expertly curated pairings, learn the captivating stories behind these exceptional vintages and help crown the ultimate wine and food pairing champion!

Introducing Anna Mucha, our in-house award-winning sommelier and Patrice Lipatti-Mesme from Le Bon Vin will introduce wines from France and Italy.

Anna Mucha
Award-winning sommelier Anna Mucha brings her expertise and passion for wine to Goldsborough Hall, where she has meticulously honed her craft over the years. Having achieved the esteemed Level 4 Diploma in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), Anna curates a wine list that celebrates lesser-known regions, indigenous grape varieties and artisan winemaking. Her thoughtful pairings transform every meal into an unforgettable experience.

Patrice Lipatti-Mesme
Half-French and half-Italian, Patrice Lipatti-Mesme is a classically trained sommelier with roots at Maxim's in Paris. Now a leading French wine expert in North Yorkshire, Patrice brings a wealth of knowledge and a distinguished palate to the table. Known for his depth of understanding and his passion for world-class wines, Patrice offers a truly refined approach to the art of wine.
